Michael DiFede / Partner
Michael began his career in asset management at TIAA in 1981 after graduating from Pratt Institute with a degree in architecture and urban planning.
He then joined the pension fund advisory group at Citicorp where he did both asset management of several large office properties in Manhattan in which the pension fund clients were investors as well as creating several joint venture relationships to provide the LP equity for multifamily construction projects, primarily in the Southwest.
From 2001-2020, Michael was the director of Acquisitions for The Bergman Real Estate Group, an owner/operator of value-added suburban office properties in New Jersey where he was responsible for originating and underwriting acquisition opportunities as well as securing the debt and equity. During his tenure, he was responsible for acquiring 14 properties totaling approximately 2.0M sf.
In 2020, he joined EastGate Alliance, a family office located in New Jersey and in his 24 month tenure, created relationships in the Senior Living sector which resulted in the creation of two joint venture relationships which acquired four transactions in four States.
